Around Comics Ep. 234 - FREE COMICS!

It's the third and final episode from our Free Comic Book Day extravaganza! You've heard from Erik Larsen, you've followed our journey in The Adventures of Luther Arkwright, and now it's time to hear all about 2009's Free Comic Book Day. Join Sal, Tom, Chris and special guest Patrick Brower for a discussion about all of the day's events. Patrick and his business partner Dal run one of the best comic shops around, and he gives some of the trade secrets as to why Challengers Comics + Conversation is the kind of store you wish you had in your neighborhood. The panel discusses this year's FCBD offerings, and for some weird reason has trouble remembering anything from 2008. Listener voice mails and e-mails. A NEW Around Comics Community and things not to do on a podcast wrap up this year's FCBD episode.
