Ep265 - Orc Junk!

Postby Sal » Sun Jan 24, 2010 11:48 am

It's the first of Tom's last two episodes. Turn that frown upside down! Dark Tower is filled with tons of friends that are wishing Tom well on his journey. Lots of comics talk including Amazing Spider-Man, Adventure Comics, Daytripper, Orc Stain and much more!

We also have an announcement about the future of the show.

I am ridiculously dissapointed in the cancelation of the show! All I got left now is Word Balloon.

Sal, because it was snowing in an issue of Amazing Spider-Man (when it wasn't snowing in the previous issue) Brand New Day felt "disjointed" and had no cohesion? There was a reason for the storm, it wasn't 'just snowing' because stories are told in any old order.

Thanks for keeping me warm while waiting for the train last week as I stood on the platform shaking my head...

Bye, Tom...good luck in Boston.

Damn, the shows ending?

Bill Watterson set the standard for perfection in comics and timely exits. Guess it makes sense.

I know it's blasphemy to dare say a negative word about any Marvel book over at your forum, but personally it felt like, in the beginning, there wasn't a whole lot of synergy going on with the Spidey staff. I realize that there was an explanation for the snow storm given, but that doesn't automatically make it well executed story telling.
