So Long Chicago, But Not Goodbye

Postby Thomas Katers » Mon Dec 28, 2009 2:34 pm

I am sure we will talk about this on the show next week, but I am moving from the Chicago area to the Boston area. My wife got a totally sweet job so we are packing up the wagon and heading east.

Obviously this means I won't be on the show live every week, and I probably won't be able to participate in the same way...but I will still be around the old internet and I still will take part in the show in whatever capacity we can figure out. Tom vs. The Flash will continue unabated.

My time in Chicago has been fantastic and I look forward to some brand new opportunities. Being such a huge part of Aroundcomics has been one the best things to happen to me in the last few years. Now I look forward to being able to listen to the show more often!

Sounds exciting! I've never been to Boston, but the east coast is great in general, so close to so much. Just a quick train ride to NYC, DC, Philly, etc.

That is both great and sad. I'm glad to hear that you have some new opportunities, and wish you the best of luck!

Congrats to you wife on the new job. You'll both really enjoy the Boston area. Nice to see you are joining the east coast liberal elite.

This is a bit of a bummer - having listened to AC religiously for several years, never going to be the same. :'( But be well, Tom, Boston's a great town.
